Chumy
Septic Abdomen
Meet Chumy - one of our favorite and loving patients! He presented with a septic abdomen (i.e. severe infection in the abdomen) and a severely infected kidney. He had a cystotomy to remove the bladder stones and had one of his kidney's removed. Chumy was a complicated case and was touch and go for quite awhile. His wonderful owner never gave up and drove over an hour almost every night to visit. Chumy made a miraculous recovery and is now back home. He and his owner stop by to visit with the staff now and again. It warms our hearts to see how well he is doing!
