Occasionally WVRC helps out the Racine Zoo with unique cases. Dr. Zimmerman-Pope assisted by Drs. Glazer and Congdon performed surgery on a 9 year-old Fennec Fox that ate pieces of a rubber toy. Sahara was discharged and is now recovering at the zoo. What an amazing animal!
