Trinity

Histiocytic Sarcoma

Trinity, an 11-year-old Doberman, had a mass around her left knee that had her owner concerned. X-rays performed by her veterinarian showed an abnormality of the bone consistent with a tumor. She was diagnosed with histiocytic sarcoma, which is a tumor of primitive white blood cells, and was referred to WVRC for further treatment. To provide the best chance of getting rid of the cancer, Dr. Hurley performed an amputation of the affected hind leg and Trinity has completed now her chemotherapy protocol with Dr. Wirth. Trinity is definitely a Super Dog!
