Abdominal Surgery
Meet Yoda - a 5.5 lb. adorable Chihuahua seen here at WVRC. Unfortunately, she had a big dog little dog incident where she was attacked, picked up and shaken by a much larger dog. She had significant bite wounds and underwent exploratory abdominal surgery. An abdominal hernia was repaired and part of her small intestine was resectioned. We are happy to report that she went home this week!
